Crown FC striker Isah Saadu is pleased with his
side's victory in the clash against Nigeria National League (NNL) side,
Warri Wolves.
The Ajilete Warriors defeated the Seasiders 2-0 in Sunday’s NNL matchday 11 clash at the Soun Stadium in Ogbomosho.
A goal in each half from the feet of Usman Useni and Pascal Nwabueze proved enough to hand the Ogbomosho landlords the three points at stake.

Saadu said he is unperturbed over his inability to score in the crunch encounter, even though he assisted as well as created opportunities
for the side’s goals.
“I feel happy that we won convincingly the clash against an experienced and matured side, Warri Wolves.
“Wolves had experienced and matured players in their fold, the goalkeeper and midfielders were outstanding in the clash.
“Wolves are good side except that we came into the match determined to claim the whole three points.
“Wolves created and missed several of their chances though we showed more commitment in the entire game.
“The clash against Wolves happens to be the only home match I played without a goal though I assisted in the first goal as well as created chance for the second.
“However, the important thing for us as team is the victory and the three points not actually who scored the goals.
“At least, the win has greatly helped us to the third spot on the league table same points as the second, Go-Round FC.
“The league is still a marathon and I’m certain to increase my goal tally as the season progresses.
“Our target remains to guide the side to earn promotion to the top-flight at the end of the season.
“We are committed to ensuring the lofty dream of possible return to the top-flight becomes a reality,” said Saadu to supersport.com.
Crown FC are third on the NNL southern conference log on 22 points, one behind league leaders Heartland.
