Lobi
Stars captain and central defender, Anthony Agbaji has described his
side as unlucky in the top-flight clash against FC IfeanyiUbah (FCIU).
The
Pride of Benue were forced to 0-0 draw by the Anambra Warriors in
Sunday’s Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) matchday 18 clash
at the Aper Aku Stadium, Makurdi.
Agbaji
said the goalless draw against the Nnewi outfit has spoiled fun for him
as he will be heading to the altar with his heartthrob, Victoria at the
weekend.
“I
think ill-luck was behind the goalless draw against FC IfeanyiUbah as
we outright outplayed the visitors in all the departments of the game.

“Of
course, I’m not happy with the barren draw, I would have loved to win
the clash to put in sweet perspective my wedding next weekend.
“If we had won it would have made me to relax more as I’m certain
going to miss the next match against Sunshine Stars.
“FC IfeanyiUbah played quite well, too with a couple of missed chances but we were outright unlucky not to have won the match.
“We
will quickly clean the sad memory of the barren draw off our minds to
concentrate on other matches on the calendar,” said the Lobi Stars
strongman to supersport.com.
The
goalless draw against FC IfeanyiUbah takes the Makurdi outfit total
points to 24 from possible 54 in the 18-week old Nigerian top-flight.
