Ronald Koeman says he expects Ross Barkley to leave Everton despite a lack of offers for the midfielder.

Barkley has refused the offer of a new Everton contract
"His personal situation is not so difficult. We made a really good offer to sign a new contract, he declined that contract and told me he's looking for a new challenge.
"It's his decision. I need to respect that and we'll see what happens, because I heard from the board that there's not really an offer on the table for Ross."
Koeman has overseen plenty of incomings since the end of last season, Wayne Rooney rejoining a squad bolstered by the arrivals of Jordan Pickford, Michael Keane, Davy Klaassen and Sandro Ramirez.

"I don't speak about names," Koeman said. "I think there's a lot of rumours in the press.
"We lost Funes Mori with a knee injury and we're looking to replace him. We know we lost Romelu Lukaku. We bought Sandro Ramirez and we try to get another striker in, and maybe one more."
