The Owena Whales struggled to take advantage of a poor Remo Stars performance but Adeshina’s 13th minute strike eased the hosts’ relegation worries.

The win takes Olujohungbe’s men to 21 points, condemning Remo Stars to their second straight loss – to drop to the 19th position as their own fight for survival becomes tougher.
