Olorunleke positive despite Sunshine Stars' form
The Owena Whales have endured a tough NPFL campaign so far, but the shot-stopper is confident they can start picking up points
With a two match ultimatum served to the technical crew of the team by the management, the pressure may assume new dimension but
Olorunleke has cling on God’s grace to see Sunshine Stars through this difficult moment.
“It's unfortunate that the team is facing some difficult moments now, concerning the two match ultimatum given to the technical crew; well, I will say it's one of the few things one has to accept in football because when results isn't going the way of the team usually the technical crew feel the heat first before it gets to the players," Olorunleke told Goal.
“But I must emphasise that it's a challenge to us to buckle up and improve on our performance but I am very certain that as regards the six points, there's nothing difficult for God to do because our trust has always be in God and by His grace He won't let us down.
“We shall go out against Katsina United and remain positive that victory will be ours. Then after that we shall look at the next game, it has to a match at a time.
“Well, I will say it's not by my power that all these things are happening though I feel motivated and encouraged to do more courtesy of the accolades I'm getting.
“Basically, it's my job that I am doing and I will continue to do my best every time I am called upon to represent my team.”
