Ihuarulam: Abia Warriors fired up for MFM test

The Ocendo Babes face in-form Olukoya Boys, and the striker reveals they head into the encounter with a lot of confidence
Abia Warriors forward Uche Ihuarulam has insisted that his side will head into their game against MFM at the Agege Stadium full of confidence.

He believes that the Uchendu Babes are capable of earning three points in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) week 16 clash on Wednesday.

"We will go to Lagos with confidence. We're never daunted when going to the big grounds, we go to these places with the intention of winning. That's
the frame of mind you have to approach matches like this," Ihuarulam told Goal.

"You have to know that you're good enough to go to somewhere like Lagos and compete. If you go with an inferiority complex, you're beaten before you even get there. It will be a difficult game.

"MFM are a different team and have started this season well. We need to go there and replicate the form we showed in our home win over Kano Pillars. They're flying and playing some good football so it's going to be a massive test for us. We mustn't think about the threat that Odey, Sikiru and Onuwa will pose.

"We're gaining confidence ourselves and we're beginning to bed players in. We're getting some momentum and hopefully we can go there and cause an upset."

Abia Warriors are unbeaten in their last five matches in the top flight.
