Super Eagles crack top 50 list

The Super Eagles are now ranked 41st in the world from the previous 50th position and are now in seventh place in Africa.
Despite missing the Africa Cup of Nations, Nigeria are still in Africa’s top 10 and in the top 50 in the world.
Egypt, who lost in the final of the Africa Cup of Nations are the number one ranked team in Africa. New champions Cameroon are in third place while Senegal, who went into the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations as the number one side on the continent are in second place now.
Argentina are the top team in the world and are closely followed by Brazil and
Germany in that order. Egypt, the number one side in Africa is in 23rd place in the world ranking.
