Heartland head coach, Ramson Madu has expressed satisfaction with his side’s five-star performance against Bayelsa United.
The Naze Millionaires defeated the Restoration Boys 3-1 in Sunday’s Bet9ja Nigeria National League (NNL) matchday 15 clash at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri.

The Owerri outfit talisman, Odinaka Ahiaeke scored a brace and a winner by
Afeez Mohammed while Samuel Akinbinu scored the Yenagoa side consolation.
Madu said his side are happy to reclaim the summit but not yet celebration time for the side’s performance so far.
“We played good football and got a well-deserved result and that’s good enough to make me happy and the entire team.
“It’s quite relishing and satisfying that we are gradually and steadily picking up in front of goal scoring six goals in two straight matches.
“I think that’s the key as well as secret to our recent good performances the ability to convert chances.
“And I can assure you that we will firm our foot on the throttle as we progress in the on-going league.
“Bayelsa United are good side and performed creditably well, too but I think we overwhelmed them.
“We are happy to reclaim the top spot but we are not celebrating the feat as there is still more daunting task ahead.
“We will take the momentum to a crucial matchup at Bendel Insurance at midweek in Benin we hope to come up with another wonderful performance.
“Right now we are not yet paying undue attention on the summit but concentrating on each of the matches ahead, the next game is at Insurance before coming back home to confront Crown FC to end the first stanza.
“We want to take our matches one after the other and we pray the end result will be desirable and sweet for everybody,” said Madu to supersport.com.
The emphatic win against Bayelsa United returns Heartland to the NNL southern conference summit on 32 points three ahead of closest challengers, Crown FC.
