Ighalo: Fans’ role will be crucial against Algeria
The striker has called on the fans to create a very charged atmosphere for the Greens on Saturday
Watford striker, Odion Jude Ighalo has disclosed that the fans of the Super Eagles have a greater role to play on Saturday before and during the 2018 World Cup qualifier to unsettle Algeria at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo.

Ighalo and his Algerian club mate, Adlene Guedioura have thrown few jibes at each other ahead of the showdown, but the former Granada forward has clamoured for the undivided support of Nigerians.

“We have come a long way and we desire to be at the next World Cup finals in Russia," Ighalo told Goal.
"I want to call on Nigerians to come out in numbers to support us. Their role is very important because if they massively support us, this can unsettle our opponents.

“As players, we will go out and do our best and we will like our fans to do the same also by supporting us from the start of the match till the end.
