Tottenham face an anxious wait to discover the extent of an injury picked up by Kieran Trippier in the pre-season friendly with Juventus.

England international Trippier appeared to suffer a knee
injury in a challenge with Juventus left-back - and reported Chelsea target - Alex Sandro early on in the Wembley friendly.

After receiving treatment, Trippier continued and delivered a beautifully measured cross moments later for Harry Kane to open the scoring with a 10th-minute header against the Italian champions.
But the former Burnley man was unable to see out the first half and was eventually replaced by 20-year-old Kyle Walker-Peters four minutes before the break.

Trippier is Tottenham's only specialised senior right-back following Kyle Walker's departure to rivals Manchester City last month, although Eric Dier has filled in there for Spurs in the past.

Spurs have identified the right-back position as an area that requires strengthening, and Sky sources understand they have considered making a move for Hoffenheim's Jeremy Toljan after cooling their interest in Porto's Ricardo Perreira.

Tottenham are yet to make a signing this summer but also hope to add a new attacking-midfielder to their squad, according to Sky sources, with interest in Everton's Ross Barkley, Leicester's Demarai Gray and Bournemouth's Josh King.
