Mayweather vs McGregor: Floyd Mayweather says he cannot allow Conor McGregor to hear final bell
Floyd Mayweather says it will be a victory for Conor McGregor if their Las Vegas fight goes the distance.
The five-weight world champion and UFC star McGregor have
both predicted stoppage victories ahead of their eagerly awaited
showdown atthe T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on August 26, live on Sky Sports Box Office.
And Mayweather admits that McGregor can claim a moral victory if he manages to reach the final bell.
"He feels one way, I feel another way, we are both confident in our skills and we'll just have to see.
"It is a victory for him. If it goes the distance, it's a victory for him - in my eyes also."
"He's said that he's used to fighting in 4oz gloves, so like I said in my post, I want to give you (McGregor) any advantage that you think," said Mayweather.
