Kelechi Iheanacho is edging closer to joining Leicester

Kelechi Iheanacho is to have a medical at Leicester on Tuesday ahead of a £25m transfer from Manchester City, Sky sources understand.

Leicester City boss Craig Shakespeare had admitted he
was hopeful of a deal to bring Iheanacho to the club last weekend.

Sky Sports News reported earlier this month that a deal for the Manchester City striker had been 'agreed in principle' for a fee that could rise to £25m.

Finalisation of the deal was reportedly being held up by contractual issues, including the possibility of a buy-back clause and a dispute over Iheanacho's image rights.

Iheanacho featured 28 times for City last season, scoring seven goals.
However, he made just one start for City in 2017, with that appearance coming back on January 2 in the 2-1 win over Burnley.
