Dillian Whyte wheels away after knocking Malcolm Tann down on his way to third round stoppage victory in Nebraska

Dillian Whyte moved closer to a world title shot against Deontay Wilder after stopping Malcolm Tann in the third round on his American debut at the Pinnacle Bank Arena, Lincoln.

Whyte, 29, proved a class above Tann who was dropped
to the canvas on four occasions before the referee eventually called a halt to the contest.

The Brixton man, who improves his record to 21-1-KO16, finished the heavyweight clash with a series of destructive left hooks to the body that left Tann grimacing in pain.
