Everton have made an improved bid for Swansea midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson worth up to £45m, Sky sources understand.

The bid is believed to be for £40m, plus an additional £5m in add-ons.
Everton's initial bid of £40m was rejected, with the Swans
understood to be holding out for £50m.
