Popyrin wins French Open boys' title

Alexei Popyrin became the first Australian winner of the French Open boys' title in 49 years on Saturday.

The 17-year-old from Sydney, seeded three, defeated Spanish 11th seed Nicola Kuhn 7-6 (7/5), 6-3 in the final.
