Everton sign forward Henry Onyekuru from Eupen on five-year deal

By Mark Crellin
Everton have announced that they have completed the signing of forward Henry Onyekuru from Belgian side Eupen for an undisclosed fee.

The 20-year-old has signed a five-year deal and will spend next season on loan with Belgian title winners Anderlecht, who will be playing in the Champions League.

Onyekuru enjoyed a superb 2016/17 season in Belgium and finished joint-top scorer in the Pro League after finding the net 22 times.

And he made his international debut for Nigeria when they defeated Togo 3-0 on 1 June.
The exciting prospect was previously at the Aspire
Academy in Qatar, where he spent five years before joining Eupen in 2015.

Everton finished seventh in the Premier League last season and have been busy in the transfer market this summer, having already acquired goalkeeper Jordan Pickford from Sunderland and midfielder Davy Klaassen from Ajax.
