Frank de Boer has been offered the Crystal Palace manager's job, Sky sources understand.
The Eagles have been looking for a new boss since Sam Allardyce resigned and apparently retired from football management in May after five months at Selhurst Park.

De Boer has been in contention along with Mauricio Pellegrino - and both men have also been wanted by Southampton.

Former Ajax, Barcelona and Rangers defender De Boer has been out of work since he lost his job at Inter Milan in November last year.
De Boer won the Dutch title four times while managing Ajax between 2010 and 2016.

The Dutchman will look to ensure the Eagles do not flirt with relegation as they did last season, with the club 17th in the Premier League when Allardyce came in and guided them to safety.
Palace begin the new season at home to promoted Huddersfield on August 12 before facing Liverpool at Anfield a week later.
