The Oluyole Warriors beefed up their squad with the addition of the former Kwara Football Academy goal poacher

Ahead of the second round of the 2016/17 Nigerian topflight, Shooting Stars have bolstered their ranks with the signature of Wasiu Jimoh from FC IfeanyiUbah.

The former Flying Eagles striker rejoined the Oluyole Warriors on a short-term deal after an uneventful stint at FC IfeanyiUbah.

"I feel happy to be back to a familiar terrain. I hope to show the fans what am capable of doing on the field of play," Jimoh told Goal.

"When the chance came to play for this great club (Shooting Stars),  I didn't think twice over it. My hope is to add something special to the team.

"I also want to regain my confidence with more
games under my belt. I also want to score plenty goals in the second round. All these targets are realistic."

On likely relegation for the Ibadan side, the budding talent added, "There is nothing of such. Our current position might not be too good but we hope to beat the drop. Infact we want to strive to end up in the top eight."

Wasiu could make his debut against his former side when Shooting Stars host FC IfeanyiUbah in Ibadan on May 21.
