Perez has dropped down after
losing to former heavyweight world champion Alexander Povetkin last time out but is looking forward to putting on a show against local cruiserweight Tommy McCarthy.
"I've been working very hard behind the scenes and I'm very excited about the McCarthy fight," said Perez.

"Both of us need to win to move on to major titles and I'm happy to go into his hometown to get the opportunity. I'm ready to give the fans a great fight on June 10."

The cruiserweight clash will be part of a bumper night in Belfast, when Burnett tries to follow in the famous footsteps of Barry McGuigan and Carl Frampton and become their latest world champion.

The 25-year-old will challenge IBF bantamweight holder Haskins in only his 17th professional fight, while the champion will be making his third defence since being crowned back in November 2015.
