Iwobi unhappy despite scoring

Alex Iwobi

Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi scored his third league goal of the season on Tuesday but barely celebrated the strike at the Emirates Stadium.

His goal in the 58th minute merely halved the deficit on the night with the Nigerian striker more concerned with taking the ball back to the centre for the game to be restarted.
Arsenal eventually lost the game 1-2 and Iwobi understandably cut an unhappy figure as he took to social media to voice his sentiments
on a bitter-sweet night.

“Disappointing Result , Gotta Pick Our Heads Up & Go Again ... Happy To Have Marked My 50th Appearance For @Arsenal With A Goal #AFC #BIG17,” he wrote on his official Twitter account, @alexiwobi.

Iwobi has made 19 league appearances for Arsenal this season and is a favourite of the club’s manager, Arsene Wenger.
The 20-year-old has scored four goals in all competitions for the Gunners this season.
