The Ivorian is said to have recently rejected a £430,000-per-week deal, but it is understood that is merely the latest in a long line of approaches
Yaya Toure has no interest in a move to China this month, or in the near future, and will finish the season with Manchester City, Goal understands.

It is being reported on Tuesday evening that Toure has rejected a £430,000-per-week offer from a Chinese Super League club.

Sources close to Toure insist the offer is merely the latest of several attempts from various Chinese sides to tempt the Ivorian.

It is understood approaches were made during the Chinese summer transfer window last June and July, around the same time Toure rejected moves to European clubs.

There were also overtures from China during the autumn, when Toure’s days at City appeared to be numbered.

But after initially banishing Toure from the squad, Pep Guardiola recalled the midfielder to his side at the end of November and he has since been one of City’s most impressive performers.

Toure’s City contract expires in the summer and he has admitted publicly he would like to stay, although it currently appears unlikely he will be offered an extension.

Earlier this week the Chinese FA announced that it had introduced new regulations to curb the spending of its clubs.
The Asian transfer record has been broken five times in the last 12 months, with Oscar moving from Chelsea to Shanghai SIPG for £60 million - the new record - in December.

But CSL sides must now field a maximum of three foreign players in any given league match, a move designed to limit the influx of expensive imports to the league.
