Chelsea recall striker Bamford from Burnley loan

The 23-year-old has returned to Stamford Bridge after making just six Premier League appearances since joining the Clarets last summer

Chelsea have recalled Patrick Bamford from his loan spell at Burnley.

The Clarets made the announcement on the back of their 1-0 Premier League win over Southampton on Saturday, with Bamford missing from the squad.

Bamford, 23, had featured just six times in the league for
Burnley and therefore Chelsea have decided to end his temporary spell at Turf Moor.
