Nigerian Nobel prize-winning author Wole Soyinka who promised to destroy
his Green card and and leave the US if Donald Trump won the US presidential
elections said Thursday that he has fulfilled his pledge.
The 82-year-old playwright novelist told AFP on the sidelines of an
education conference at the University of Johannesburg..
“I have already done it, I have disengaged (from the United States). I have
done what I said I would do.”
