He, however, debunked insinuation that the issue of constituency project was used for the passage of N180 billion virement for second reading.
He also said that recent meetings between the Presidency and National Assembly was aimed at smoothened the executive-legislature relationship, saying that, “there is need for you to meet from time to time, no break down with the relationship of any arm of government”.
While restating that the House had not jettisoned the loan request of the President, he said “so many issues come up and we threat them as they come.”
On the economic recession, he said that, each arms of government must work together to tackle the economic recession facing the country.
On the constituency project, he said that: “Funds for constituency projects is not release to the National Assembly, stressing that, “implementation is 100 percent executive. Releases are in the purview of the executive.”
