Nigerian man arrested in the U.S. for scamming elderly woman out of nearly $9,000

A 47-year-old Nigerian man has been arrested for scamming an elderly woman out of nearly $9,000 in Vermillion Parish, Louisiana, US, according to a news release from the Louisiana Attorney General's Office. Attorney General Landry said: "Our office is on the front lines investigating, arresting, and educating to help stop the awful occurrence of seniors being targeted and preyed upon by scammers".
