The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 closed its case against former Taraba governor, Jolly Nyame, who is standing trial before Justice Adebukola Banjoko of the FCT High Court sitting in Gudu, Abuja on charges of money laundering to the tune of N1.6billion. Nyame is facing trial on a 41-count charge of criminal breach of trust and misappropriation of state funds to the tune of N1.64billion between 1999 and 2007 during his tenure as governor.
