Headline Inflation rose by 17.6% in August from 17.1% in July - Statistician General of the Federation says
Two
weeks after it released a report stating that the economy was indeed in
recession, the Statistician General of Nigeria and CEO of the Nigerian
National Bureau of Statistics, Yemi Kale, has released the August 2016
CPI/inflation, PMS, Diesel and Kerosene price watch reports. According
to the report, in the month of August, headline Inflation rose by 17.6%
