Bird strikes are a constant threat to fliers and that danger was brought
into sharp focus by an image which shows a bird lodged in the nose cone of
a passenger plane after colliding with it. The bird crashed into the plane
at El Fasher airport in Sudan. No one was injured in the incident.
Usamah Mohamed, who posted the image on Twitter, said: 'Sudanese aircraft
with 108 passengers on board makes emergency landing after being hit by
this... eagle!'
