Roger Federer has been declared fit ahead of the US Open, which begins in New York on Monday.
The 36-year-old was forced to pull out of the recent ATP Tour event in Cincinnati after suffering a back problem in Montreal two weeks ago.
Federer hurt his back during the straight-sets defeat by
Alexander Zverev in the final of the Rogers Cup.
The 19-time Grand Slam singles winner said: "Two weeks after the final is a long time, so because you've got two weeks you can take your time.

"The first week was really just trying to feel better, get better, get back on the court at some stage. I have been on the practice courts since last week.
"I have been playing sets the last few days, and I'm really happy how I'm feeling."
Federer last won the US Open nine years ago, since when he has been beaten in two finals.
Federer has already won two slams this year, in Australia and at Wimbledon, while 31-year-old Rafa Nadal triumphed in Paris.
