Even a win against Crystal Palace on Sunday will only take United up to 18 wins on the campaign, leaving them one short of the previous low of 19, set
under David Moyes in 2013-14 and equalled last season by Louis van Gaal’s side.
And it has also been a season of scoreless draws for the Red Devils. Wednesday’s was the sixth of the season, which is the highest number United have had in the Premier League era alongside the 2004-05 campaign.
