The skillful striker is said to be top on the list of clubs from south-western part of Nigeria, but it looks likely that Sunshine Stars’ may muscle him off other interests.

According to a close source, Jimoh fits the
bill of what the clubs need and discussions should be sorted out within a week from now.

“A formal contact hasn’t been made to the player but base on what criteria these clubs want, Wasiu Jimoh fits the bill," the source disclosed to Goal.

“Right now Sunshine Stars look the most serious but the interesting thing is that two other clubs based in the south-west region of the country who have specifically asked not to be mentioned until a deal is done also want him. At this point, we are discussing and hopefully before the end of next week we should sort the deal out.

“Once we have sized up the details of these offers, we shall communicate with the player and close the deal. Because these clubs, Sunshine Stars in particular have shown serious interest, I think we should be able to pull this move through within a week. Most likely before the end of next week.”
The former Flying Eagles star left Shooting Stars for FC IfeanyiUbah before the commencement of the 2016 Nigeria Professional Football League season.
