I need to keep improving, says Manchester City's Iheanacho
The 20-year-old forward revealed that he needs to
keep working hard to get a call for regular first team duty in Pep
Guardiola's squad
The Super Eagles attacker who has only played three times in the English Premier League this year believes he can still get a regular playing time if only he keeps improving and working hard.
Iheanacho came in as a 90th minute substitute for
Sergio Aguero in Saturday's defeat of Middlesborough to book a place in the semi-final stage of the FA Cup.
"I think I have really done well so far in my Manchester City career, but everyone needs to improve," Iheanacho was quoted by ESPN.
"I need to keep working and keep improving. I have so many things to improve on. I need to keep learning.
"Kun is doing well, Gabriel is doing well. I hope for him to recover quickly so he can come in the team because we really need him.
"We work together as a team. We need everyone as a team for us to get something after this season.
"Sergio is brilliant and has been doing really well. We hope to see more of that soon. On my part, any time I am needed, I will give 100 per cent because everyone is important in the team."
