Atuloma to miss tie v Al-Merreikh

Emeka Atuloma will miss Saturday’s Caf Champions League match between Nigerian club, Rivers United and Sudanese Al-Merreikh.
The Rivers United midfielder was booked in the club’s last two matches in the competition against AS Real Bamako and Al-Merreikh.
Atuloma’s cautions were recorded in the preliminary and first rounds of the competitions but he will miss out on Saturday’s clash in
Omdurman as the bookings were in consecutive matches.
The midfielder has been booked in every game he has played for United in the Champions League for United this season.
He did not make the match day squad in United’s first game of the competition against AS Real Bamako at the Stade Modibo de Keita on February 11.
It is still not clear who the technical manager of Rivers United, Stanley Eguma will draft in as replacement for the tough-tackling Atuloma.
United won the first leg 3-0 against Al-Merrikh and will progress to the next round if the Sudanese club fail to score more than twice on Saturday in Omdurman.
