The Oluyole Warriors’ handler has dished out some advice to both teams, faced with constrating situations in the continental competition
Shooting Stars’ coach, Fatai Amoo has handed Nigeria's representatives in the Caf Champions League some advice.

Rivers United are in pole position to seal a group stage ticket after defeating Sudanese side, Al-Merreikh 3-0 at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium over the weekend.

And ahead of their return leg in Omdurman, Amoo has warned Stanley Eguma's side to shy away from adopting a defensive approach.
“I want to congratulate Rivers United for a job well done
in Port Harcourt but I must warn them that the battle is not yet over," Amoo told Goal.

"They must go to Sudan with determination and hold on to what they have got at home if they cannot improve it. Adopting a defensive approach will be counter -productive."
On the other hand, the Oluyole Warriors’ handler encouraged Nigerian topflight champions, Enugu Rangers after suffering a heavy loss in Egypt.

On Sunday, the Flying Antelopes will be hoping to overturn a 4-1 first leg defeat at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium.
“It is no doubt a tough task for Enugu Rangers but it is surmountable if they put their acts together and forget about the first leg infraction,” he said.

"It is no time to apportion blames. They must stick together and have the firm believe that they can do it.

Rangers must score three unreplied goals to stand a chance of qualifying for the group stages of Africa's premier club competition as a loss would mean getting demoted to the Confederation Cup playoffs.
