Toby Alderweireld is set to sign a new contract at Tottenham, according to the Daily Mail.
The Belgium international has become a key part of the club's defence since joining from Southampton in 2015, with Spurs conceding just 32 goals in 26 games thus far this season.
Alderweireld's current contract contains a £25 million release clause, but the new deal would see that eradicated as Spurs bid to retain the services of the 27-year-old.
